The right care. The right caregiver. The right relationship.

Caringood isn’t here simply to fill a shift. We build care around what your family actually needs.

  • The right care

The appropriate amount of support for your loved one and your family, based on real needs.

  • The right caregiver

Thoughtful matching that looks at needs, preferences and personality, not just who is available.

  • The right relationship

Familiarity, trust and understanding that have time to grow, whenever scheduling allows.

Home care should make life easier, not give your family more to manage

Families often come to home care already carrying a lot: appointments, meals, transportation, medications, work, family responsibilities, and worrying about what is happening when they are not there.

Our role is not simply to send someone for a shift. We aim to create a dependable care arrangement around your loved one, one that is easier for the family to understand, manage and adjust as needs change.

  • Reliable support: care arranged around your loved one’s actual needs and schedule.
  • Familiar care: whenever possible, consistent caregivers who learn routines and preferences.
  • Clear communication: we aim to keep your family informed, without you having to chase information.
  • Flexible care planning: care is reviewed and adjusted as needs change.

Help with what your family needs

Non-medical home care built around your loved one’s day: personal care, companion care, respite for family caregivers and support after a rehab stay, with meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, errands and light housekeeping along the way.

The goal isn’t more care. It’s the right care.

Every paid caregiving hour should have a purpose. We look at the person’s daily routine, personal-care needs, family support, meals, transportation, companionship and safety before developing a care schedule.

Some families need extensive daily support. Others may benefit from more focused care. A care plan should be based on what the person actually needs, not simply how many hours can be scheduled.

Your loved one shouldn’t have to start over with a stranger every few days

A familiar caregiver learns how someone likes their morning, what they enjoy eating and what a normal day looks like. Whenever scheduling allows, Caringood aims for consistent caregiver relationships rather than treating every visit as an isolated shift.

  • Familiarity

Knowing routines, preferences and what a normal day looks like.

  • Comfort

Giving trust time to develop between your loved one and their caregiver.

  • Continuity

Reducing unnecessary caregiver changes whenever possible.

Better care starts with supported caregivers

Caregivers do some of their most important work alone inside a client’s home. They should understand the care plan, know what is expected and know where to turn when they need support.

We believe supporting the caregiver is part of supporting the client. Clear expectations, good communication and stronger caregiver–client relationships make for a better experience for everyone.

What is non-medical home care?

It’s help with daily living rather than medical treatment: companionship, personal care like bathing and dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands and transportation to appointments. It suits someone who is safe at home with the right support.

Is Caringood licensed?

Yes. Caringood is a licensed Home Care Organization in California (CA HCO #494700078). We’re locally owned, based in Santa Rosa, and BBB Accredited with an A rating.

How many hours of care will we need?

It depends on the person. Some families need extensive daily support; others benefit from more focused care. You don’t need to know before you call. We look at daily routines, personal care, family support, meals, transportation and safety, then talk through an appropriate schedule, and review it as needs change.

How much does care cost?

Cost depends on the hours and type of care your loved one needs. We aim to build a care plan around what they actually need, not the most hours we can schedule. Talk with our care team for current rates.

Not Sure What Kind of Care You Need? That’s Okay.

You don’t need to know how many hours, what service or what schedule you need before contacting us.

Tell us what’s happening, what your loved one can still do on their own and what’s worrying you. We’ll start there.
