Non-medical home care
Personal Care
Respectful assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and daily routines, while supporting your loved one’s dignity and independence.

What is personal care?
Personal care covers the everyday tasks that can become hard with age or after an illness: bathing, dressing, grooming and getting around the home safely.
Caregivers follow your loved one’s preferences and pace, and always put their dignity first.

How Caringood approaches care
The same principles guide every care plan, whatever the schedule.

Non-medical, by design
Everyday support at home: personal care, companionship, meals, errands, transportation and reminders.
-
Built around their day
We learn their routines, preferences and what a good day looks like, then plan care around that.
-
The right amount of care
Hours are based on what your loved one actually needs, not on how many can be scheduled.
-
A familiar caregiver
We match thoughtfully and aim for consistent caregivers whenever scheduling allows, so trust can grow.
-
Reviewed as needs change
The care plan is reviewed and adjusted as your loved one becomes more independent or needs more help.

How many hours of care will we need?
It depends on the person. Some families need extensive daily support; others benefit from more focused care. You don’t need to know before you call. We look at daily routines, personal care, family support, meals, transportation and safety, then talk through an appropriate schedule, and review it as needs change.
How much does care cost?
Cost depends on the hours and type of care your loved one needs. We aim to build a care plan around what they actually need, not the most hours we can schedule. Talk with our care team for current rates.
How do families pay for care?
Families may use private pay and, depending on eligibility and policy terms, may be able to use long-term care insurance or qualifying veterans’ benefits. Your insurer or the VA decides eligibility; we’re happy to talk through the options with you.
My parent is private. How do caregivers handle personal care?
Calmly and respectfully, at your loved one’s pace, with their dignity at the center of every routine.
Not Sure What Kind of Care You Need? That’s Okay.
You don’t need to know how many hours, what service or what schedule you need before contacting us.
Tell us what’s happening, what your loved one can still do on their own and what’s worrying you. We’ll start there.
